We all know the economy is tough out there. Even more reason for small business owners (like me) to take all the FREE advise we can!
Last night I had an amazing opportunity to attend an event given by Hands On Small Business, hosted by Kirtsy and Microsoft Office LIVE.
First off, you've got to check out Kirtsy. It's like DIGG but geared toward content that women are interested in. A bookmarking site, if you will, but with articles you can view by popularity or by topic, including arts & entertainment, food & home, even politics & business.
So, the great part for me is that Kirtsy teamed up with Microsoft Office LIVE (a completely FREE and UNBELIEVABLE tool) and are offering 20 small gatherings across the US to show current and start up entrepreneurs how to use online & social media applications to build and promote their business.
You can certainly find these types of meetings in your area, anywhere from $35 to $100 or more....however these are FREE! And they are incredibly thorough and fun! A huge THANK YOU to Kirtsy and Microsoft Office LIVE for helping out the little guys, especially at a time when we can use all resources to support our growing (or new) businesses!
